In every sense of the word, Lahore is an old city that has persisted through the decades to develop into the bustling metropolis that it is today. Nevertheless, despite the achievements and advancements that the city has seen, the notions of living in high-rise structures or apartments are still strange to a significant portion of the local population. This is one of the reasons there are fewer options available when it comes to flats for sale in Lahore, particularly in comparison to Karachi, the economic capital of the country.
The majority of Lahore’s growth has been horizontal, whereas Karachi’s growth has been vertical and above the heads of its population. Despite this, apartment complexes are being built in the city since vacant land is scarce; however, these developments are few and far between. In addition, the amount of search data available for queries that include “flats for sale in Lahore” is extremely limited. The following is a rundown of our most popular search trends for April 2019:

The Five Best Localities in Lahore to Invest in a Flat
As can be seen, DHA Lahore was the location that received the greatest number of searches. In that order, the subsequent towns in the sequence were Bahria Town, Askari, Johar Town, and Model Town. However, these were simply the top 5 areas in Lahore that had flats available for purchase. Moving on, we will now talk about each of the five communities, their most desirable neighbourhoods, and the price range of apartments currently on the market there.
In April 2019, DHA Lahore garnered 25.5 per cent of the overall search percentage, thus establishing its position as the most desirable neighbourhood in Lahore with flats available for purchase. In terms of the many sub-areas, the three phases were the ones that sold the most apartments. With 36.3% of all searches conducted, DHA Phase was the sub-district that received the most attention. Following that was DHA Phase 5, which accounted for 22.1 per cent of the total search percentage, and DHA Phase 8, which accounted for 9.5 per cent of the total search percentage.
Because DHA Defence Lahore is a well-planned neighbourhood, an increasing number of individuals choose to stay with their families to take advantage of the various conveniences that can be found in the surrounding area. If a young couple wants to buy a flat in DHA Lahore with one bedroom, they need to have sufficient savings of the PKR 1.15 crore to PKR 1.5 crore to cover the cost of their new home. In the meantime, the price of an apartment in the neighbourhood with two bedrooms can range anywhere from PKR 1.22 crore to PKR 2.41 crore. Prices for larger apartments with three bedrooms can range from 1.4 to 2.99 crore Pakistani rupees (PKR) per square foot. TOWN OF BAHRIA
Bahria Town came in at number two on our list, boasting a search percentage of 7.7 per cent for April 2019. The most searches were conducted in Sector C, followed by Sector B, and then Sector D, with percentages of 31.2 per cent, 21.1 per cent, and 14.8 per cent of the total searches.
Prices of apartments for sale in Bahria Town vary depending on the number of bedrooms the property has and the amenities it provides. One- and two-bedroom alternatives are both available in this location. Apartments in Bahria Town with one bedroom may be purchased for a price ranging from PKR 27 lakh to PKR 55 lakh, while apartments with two bedrooms can be purchased for a price ranging from PKR 52 lakh to PKR 60 lakh.
The Pakistan Armed Forces are in charge of the residential neighbourhood of Askari in Lahore. As a result, it is well kept and relatively secure, making it an excellent location for purchasing a home in Lahore. A search percentage of 4.6 per cent places it as the third best neighbourhood in the city to invest in an apartment, which shouldn’t come as much of a surprise either. Askari 11, Askari 10, and Askari 5 are good neighbourhoods to look into if you are interested in purchasing a flat in the Askari area. The total search percentages for these three neighbourhoods in April 2019 were 46.9 per cent, 33.1 per cent, and 6.7 per cent, respectively.
Most of the homes in the region have three or four bedrooms, and the pricing range for a three-bedroom flat in Askari is between one and two million Pakistani rupees. You can also purchase a four-bedroom apartment for between 1.3 and 2.1 million Pakistani rupees, depending on how much space you require.
TOWN OF JOHAR
Johar Town, located in Lahore and considered one of the city’s more affluent neighbourhoods, comes in at number four on our list because 3.9 per cent of the overall search percentages were focused on it.
Most of the apartments in both phases of Johar Town that are up for sale have one bedroom, and their asking prices range anywhere from PKR 22 lakh to PKR 38 lakh.
Model Town comes in fifth place on our list of the five best neighbourhoods in Lahore to look for an apartment. It is a well-kept housing society, as evidenced by the fact that it received 2.5 per cent of the total searches in April 2019. Block K is the most prominent location on this map, accounting for 10.9 per cent of all searches. Model Town Link Road comes in second, accounting for 10.7 per cent of the total number of searches.
In the neighbourhood, there is a good selection of apartments that have two bedrooms available for rent. The cost of one of these apartments ranges from PKR 25 lakh up to PKR 50 lakh.
